A physical volume controller for your hi-fi system
Roon Knob is a DIY hardware controller for your hi-fi system. Uses the Waveshare ESP32-S3 Knob (~$50). Features a rotary encoder, touchscreen display, and WiFi connectivity. Supports:
• Roon – Full zone control with album artwork
• Lyrion (LMS) – Squeezebox player control
• OpenHome/UPnP – Control OpenHome renderers
1. Flash firmware using the web flasher (Chrome/Edge)
2. Connect to WiFi via captive portal
3. Run the control service via Docker:
docker run -d --network host muness/unified-hifi-control
4. For Roon: Authorize in Settings → Extensions
